BAYER Kiltix Tick Collar (Large)

Description

* Bayer Kiltix Collar (Large) 70cm helps to eliminate and prevent the infestation of tick and flea.

* It can be used on a dog weighing > 25 kg (regardless of the breed). After removing the collar from the sealed pack, unroll the collar and remove the plastic strips placed in between the collar band.

* You need to place the collar around the dog’s neck loosely.

* To have the expected results, the collar must be worn by the dog at all times.

* Before any contact with water, it would be better to remove the collar as water can decrease the effect of the collar. 

Composition:

Each 10 gm contains 1.0 gm Propoxur (2-isopropoxyphenyl-N-methylcarbamate) and 0.225 gm Flumethrin.

What are the benefits?

The Kiltix collar comes along smeared in a solution which prevents the growth of ticks and fleas. It offers an effective way to put a check on tick and flea infestation. A single product is enough to tackle the problem for as long as 6 to 7 months. In rare cases, the ticks may get attached to the coat, while wearing the collar, but they usually come off after 3 days (maximum), mostly without sucking blood. 

Caution: Animals with excessive skin lesions should be excluded from the treatment. Do not use on sick animals or those recuperating from some illness. Do not use on animals undergoing treatment with any organophosphate-based products. Do not allow the animal to chew the collar. If they do, seek immediate advice from the veterinary. If you observe any signs of skin irritation or any other side effects, remove the collar immediately. 

Special precautions for use: You should avoid excessive contact with the collar during fitting. Wash your hands thoroughly after handling the collar. A person who is sensitive to the ingredients of the medicated collar should avoid touching it. 

Interactions with other medicinal products: None known 

Warnings:  Animals wearing the collar should be kept away from young children and infants. 

Side-effects: In the first few days, after fitting the collar, the dog might experience slight itching (occasionally). If the dog experiences any side-effect which is not mentioned in the package leaflet, then please consult your veterinarian or pharmacist. 

Further Precautions: Keep it away from food, drink and animal feed. The collar should be used immediately after opening the sealed pack. It is toxic for bees and fish. Keep it away from children.
